April 23, 1979, I was born into a missionary family. My parents were missionaries, my grandparents were missionaries, my uncles, aunts, brother and cousins are missionaries to Mexico, Ukraine, El Salvador and inside the United States. I was raised on the mission field in Mexico.
I have mastered the Spanish language and am familiar with the customs of the people God has called me to. In 2004, I graduated from La Fe Baptist Institute in Chihuahua, Mexico. During the summer of 2004, I headed the summer evangelistic outreach program of La Fe Ministries in Chihuahua, Mexico. The last part of September of 2004, I helped build two much needed buildings; one for church services, another for Sunday school classes in Guatemala, Central America. The year of 2006 was spent in Mexico, United States and Central America. God allowed me to meet an angel, named Lauren Cook, while doing summer missions in Mexico.
The year of 2007 was a real whirlwind. Getting to know Lauren, meeting her family, visiting churches in South Carolina and Georgia, another campaign in parts of Mexico, Guatemala and El Salvador, getting engaged and then, making plans for a wedding!
January 5, 2008, Lauren and I were married. Lauren is working as an RN here in Fort Worth, Texas to solidify her nursing skills. This will give her an opportunity to get to know both my church family and my family. We look forward to serving our Lord here in the United States as we finish our deputation and prepare our paperwork for Central America.
Please take a moment to learn more about Lauren on my "About Lauren" page.
